It has been five days since Daisy passed away. I feel worse than ever, as every little thing remains me of her. Taking the garbage out - she always came with me. Cooking, she was always by my feet, hoping that something would drop. Sleeping - she was by my head on my pillow. Coming home - she was always there to greet me. All these common daily activities now are so painful.

One day I would like to remember my dear friend, my best friend, with less pain and more happiness that I got to know such a brave and loving sould.

you have been one of the people who have helped me the most in my grieving for fred. i too miss the way he would follow me around and sleep near my head. he always waited so patiently for me to drop something. he was mischievious!! i know that time will ease what you are feeling. it may not seem like it now, but it will. im two weeks after losing fred, and i still am crying (today more than ever), but i know that crying eases the pain. my prayers are with you.

i also wanted you to know that we have the remains of my parents beloved dog, goliath. they tell me that has been immeasurable comfort to them, because they know that he is not alone. daisy will always be with you.

Yes it does, you still miss them but its not like a knife in your heart when you think of them.

Just tonight i spilled some crisps on the floor and both my husband and i said 'come on then' our little hoovers - had to pick them up of the floor myself rolleyes.gif
