Lillie's FeLe, FIV and FIP blood tests were all negative!!

Thank you all so much for your prayers, support and kind words...
I already put the good news in "a prayer for Lillie", but just in case you were wondering and missed my post, I just wanted to let you all know that she's ok. Missing Chubbers and a bit jealous/confused with Steeler, but theyll get along in time.

Thank you all!

-Faith

Such a gift you have received and what a light in the storm for me ~ Enjoy and spoil your sweet Lillie forever ~ Give some pets and hugs for me! Blessings to you!

Peace Be With You ~ Kathryn ~ Angel Amber ~ Angel CC~ and Sammie

I lost my Amber Tabby Girl of nearly 20 years on 3/28/05 after a valiant battle with end stage CRF. Always a beacon in the storm ~ steady and true.

C.C was my purebred White Angora I lost to cancer on 10/22/05 at age 13~ A Big Gentle yet Oddly Eccentric Creature ~Through his congenital deaf ness ~He brought an innocent joy to my life and light to my heart

I also adopted an 8 yr old Burmese named Samantha who led me back into my own room ~ still a stranger to me ~ she sweetly gives peace to Amber's final days spent there and lights my way to see in the darkness of the spaces that my precious CC has left behind.

I need advice...

Lillie has stopped eating because she was so used to always eating with Chubbers, so now when I eat I sit on the floor with her and feed her her cat food off a spoon, which seems to work. She ate a good bit of her lunch just now, then I let her have some of my food so she feels like she has a companion to eat with.

Nuts, huh?

I dont think it clicked in her head that Chubbers is dead, and she's taking it out on the kittten when we let them see each other by hissing, growling. And Steeler has issues of his own, being abandonded and all. He just wants accepted.

My question is, how can I let Lillie know that we didnt give Chubbers away (which is what I think she thinks) but that she's gone? How do we get her and Steeler to get along? Will she go crazy if she grieves too hard? Ive heard of that happening when an animal loses a friend. Will her eating off the spoon work more than just this first time I tried it? And, Im going away for the summer to work and then in Jan. I'm going to an out of state college...how will she handle that?

I posted a lengthier post in the "new beginnings" section asking for advice so im sorry if I double posted.

Does anyone have any advice?
