One Month Post Kitty Loss Options

Well it's been a month since my beautiful Tiggy died.
It honestly feels longer.
This morning as I woke up in that sort of dreamy semi-conscious state the reality that he was gone just struck me and I was so sad.
When I returned home this afternoon I thought I heard the jingle of the bell on his collar. It's been a really hard month. Other stressors of life have almost distracted me out of my grief for him. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. So tonight I lit a candle in his memory.
I love him so much.
I really hope I get to see him again.

Shauna--sorry about the sad anniversary. I think after a loss like that, all the firsts are tough--first Christmas, snow, birthday, nice spring day. All the memories come flooding back. Hang in there and try to keep thinking of the good and fun times. Pets are the loves of our lives, but can be the heartbreaks also. Take care.

For what its worth, I know that your Tiggy loves and misses you too. And that little bell that you heard, he is reminding you that he loves you. You will see him again, and until then all you have to do is close your eyes, and he wil be there. Take care of yourself.
