I picked up Scarface's ashes on Thursday. sad.gif The box is so tiny. It's hard to believe that this is all that is left of my little Scarface. I don't like what the ashes came in. DOes anyone know of somewhere that I can get something more, well, personal? I want something that I can display. The little white box just has this cheesey gold plaque. <_< I saw a little urn online, but it had these crazy feather wings that just don't look right. It is supposeedd to make it look like an angel, but it's weird. ANy ideas would be appreciated.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss.

I don't know if they deliver, but pawsnheaven.com (not 'in heaven', its 'nheaven') has some nice urns. I was actually there today bringing in my kitty for a private cremation and to pick out her headstone for her burial.
Anyway, they have photos on the website and I saw them up close - they are nice.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Call your vet. He/she may have some suggestions. Sometimes the pet creamatory has nice urn's. Ours did and our 17-yr old furkitty has a nice one as well as our 12-yr old toy poodle.

Emily

Buy something that you like and transfer the ashes into that. Make sure that you can glue the lid on after the transfer. Make it personal for you, that is all I can say. I have my Girls ashes in a very nice dark blue clay urn. Be well

Hi Emily,

I bought Odin's urn from bestfriendservices.com. They had a beautiful selection of urns, well priced and offered free ground shipping. We ended up purchasing the lotus blossom one. The photo on the website didnt do it justice. We got it in about a week. There are a lot of other places on line as well. You can also try your local funeral home and ask about infant urns.

Take Care,
Cynthia
