I recently brought my cat Loki to the vet for his round of booster shots and as ususal... tis the season for fleas! I normally try to use the FrontLine whenever I can but I have limited funds as of late so I grabbed a packet of the Hartz flea drops. I had mentioned the fleas to the vet and he told me that alot of flea treatments out there, Hartz in particular has a tendency to cause severe neurological disorders and possible death or other side effects. Usually the symptoms happen within the first few days of the treatment. Has anyone heard of this? Im assuming that flea products like Frontline and other more expensive flea products dont have this side effect. I trust my vet, but I would think that if its a valid danger against the animal, that it wouldn't be a viable product for resale. Just curious if anyone has heard anything similar.
