Hi, I've been trying to post Dixie's picture for the last month. I hope it works!
As my husband was cutting and cropping the photo, my tears were falling, as usual...
I don't think it will ever get easier. sad.gif

What a sweet face! I can only begin to imagine how much you miss her, and how hard it is to cope. Pictures can be such wonderful treasures, yet they can also inflict such a sadness when we look at a photo of someone that is no longer "here" with us. I still cry like a baby when I see pics of my Cosmo, as well as the 3 other furbabies I have lost since last May. Your loss was such a tragedy, so the pain is that much stronger.
While we try to be thankful for the time they shared with us, we still feel so sad that they have passed.
Be happy for your pics though, in time they will bring smiles ( and tears), but they will never fade.
Be well, I am thinking of you.
Love,
Michelle

Sarah and Michelle,
Thanks for taking the time to look at Dixie's pic!!
She was as sweet as she looks... wub.gif
She LOVED everyone and wouldn't hurt a fly....
She NEVER growled or bit ANYONE in all her years....
Still trying desperately to deal with the grief and the guilt... sad.gif
Thanks for your support and kind words!
Love,
Dana

Dear Dana,

Dixie is adorable!!! I do see a major resemblance between her and Shiloh...it's mostly in the eyes. Those beautiful, deep, caring eyes.

I'm so glad you finally were able to add her picture.
Love,
Kathleen

Hi Jen!
When I adopted Dixie, the pound had her labeled as a "terrier mix". I think they label 90% of their dogs that way! wub.gif

Oh Dixie is precious. What a cutie! She does look sooo sweet, and she does remind me of Kathleen's Shiloh too.

Marcia,
Thank you for the compliments about Dixie! biggrin.gif
I've always admired your beauty queen Hannah, too! wub.gif

Kathleen,
Thanks for viewing Dixie's pic...
Yes, although Dixie and Shiloh didn't exactly look alike, there is some sort of similarity somewhere...in the eyes, and in their little spots on their bodies. Too cute. wub.gif

Hi, Dana-

I used to call Shiloh my boogery, freckle face dog. Then I'd kiss her and tell her that God sure must've loved her because everyone of those freckles was a place that God kissed her. It looks like God sure loved Dixie, too! wub.gif

I can see pure kindness and love in Dixies eyes. What a beautiful sweet dog! My tears are pouring out for her. Dixie and Ginger would have liked each other. I sense they had the same loving souls.

Ginger's Mom,
Thank you for complimenting my sweet Dixie. tongue.gif She would have loved your Ginger and Kathleen's
Shiloh, too. They all have that same SWEET precious loving look.
I've been meaning to compliment Ginger's sweet little face, too. So now I am!
What a kind loving face she has... wub.gif
Take care
Dana
