Beau My Beautiful Border Collie Options

Beaumont, or Beau as he came to be known, came into my life 13 years ago this month. He comforted me through the most difficult time of my life - the loss of my husband in 1994, and came to be my best friend. He was an ornery boy in 1998 and wandered off, getting hit by a car and was found two weeks later, lying in a ditch with a broken hip and leg. He had the courage and strength to get through all of the surgeries and rehabilitiation. One year ago, he was diagnosed with cancer and endured the pain of this surgery and recovery. He was my champion. It was so very hard to say goodbye last week, but I know he is not in pain.

I thank God for this site. It has helped me express my feelings/hurts. Friends and even family who have never felt the unconditional love of an animal do not understand. I've spent more time with this little border collie than any human being in 13 years. He was the love of my life and can never be replaced.
