Today marks one month since my sweet lady Gi-Gi went to the bridge. I do not know why her time to leave came so soon.

One Day I will see the big picture but until then I will miss her. The consolation to it all is I know she is healthy and has no pain. Also she is in good company until we meet again.

It does amaze me that the heart can take so much pain and still go on. When each one of my furchildren left, a piece of my heart went with them.

On another note, Friday I got another new girl, Dolly. Dolly is a miniature red poodle. She was a kennel mate with Bridgette. So I know have the three new ones, Max a miniature Dachshund, Bridgette a miniature black poodle, and Dolly. They all are with their new housemates Speedy and Muffie.

Life is strange. Poor Gi-Gi died and three new ones come into my life.

*If missing the pain meant missing the dance I will endure the pain for I would not have wanted to miss that dance*

Peace,

Alan

Hi Alan:

I just read your post and, it is weird but, time really does fly right by... When you wrote, "she is healthy and has no pain", does that comfort you? I really hope so.
Yesterday was one week since our Ernestine was put to sleep. I do find peace & comfort in that she is healthy once again and is not suffering....

Congratulations on your new "Dolly"... Good for you, Alan.. Three new fur-babies mixing with their two new housemate furbabies... How do they all get along???? huh.gif or tongue.gif ???

Our "heart capacity" to love and then, to feel pain, is very amazing/strange???!!!!!... I can't understand it at all; and, I'm not sure that we're supposed to; here on earth.

But, I HATE (as we all do, I'm sure), the feeling of my heart as it's breaking, when it's broken... It hurts too damn much & it's awful!!!!! I also hate to see someone in so much pain when their heart is breaking, b/c, we know the pain. They, in turn, know our pain...

Enjoy Dolly & all the furbaby "family" friends that are new to her.

Have a beautiful day...

Peace to you, Denise
