Okay, these might come out large. I don't have the proper program installed on my computer to edit pictures so I apologize if they're huge.

This first one is Jasmine at 7 months. Look at that expression!

This one was taken last year. I think it's self explanatory, no? LOL (There's the brown butt patch I mentioned yesterday.)

Close-up. Her favorite thing to do was get back in bed in the morning while I was getting ready and go into MY spot and put her head on MY pillow.

This one was taken in 2000 when my roommate at the time had cats. We kept them separated during the day. This was taken when we were going to bed. Tiger (the cat) didnt' want to move out of our way!

Also taken in 2000.

Jasmine and Bailey, last year...

I'll stop there for now. I have more I can show you later if you want. smile.gif

Dear Audrey, I just love the pictures of Jasmine and Bailey. What beautiful babies they are. I just showed your darlings to my husband too and he said they are gorgeous. I have enjoyed the pictures so very much and look forward to more. I am so glad you were able to get them put on here. They are really wonderful. How did you put more than one picture on per post. I do not know how to do that!
Love, Ann

My girls went to the Rainbow Bridge 6 weeks and 3 days apart.
Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.

Audrey,

I absolutely love these pictures. Jasmine was so gorgeous! And her expressions are priceless. I can really tell by looking at these how spirited and full of love she was. wub.gif I just love the one of her with your roommate's cat. Norah does that move too where she goes and lays on your pillow after you get up. That is too funny.

Thank you for showing us these and I can't wait to see more!

Alice Mae Bennett ("Allie") was born around May of 2003. She came home to us in July. On March 10, 2005, she became ill with a condition called mesenteric torsion or volvulus. It is a twisting of the small intestine which is nearly impossible to diagnose. Once symptoms begin it is usually too late to save the intestine by surgical means. There are no known ways to prevent it and its causes are also unknown. It is extremely rare, especially in medium-size females like Allie. It is more common in males of large breeds, like German Shepherds.

Allie was a sweet, happy and loving soul. I will miss her every day. Thanks for giving us these last two years, little girl. We'll always treasure them.

Dear Audrey,

Beautiful, beautiful pictures! That professional one of Jasmine - looks like you can reach out and touch her. I love dog's eyes...............They show so much expression and trust. Jasmine had gorgeous eyes. The pic of Jasmine and Tiger is real cute. biggrin.gif

What a beautiful girl! I have always loved that breed of dog. My next door neighbor has one, and it seems like she has such a sweet disposition. I was watching the big AKC dog show when the German Shorthair won and I was in awe at what a gorgeous dog that was.

Thank you everyone! It makes me feel better to share her with you. It makes her memory and spirit come alive.
Yeah that one of her with Tiger is pretty funny. He wasn't afraid of her as you can see...and she, being the "hunter" would slowly walk up to him and stalk him. That's what she was doing in the pic. Then she would look away and only move her eyes back....sorta like the "spider" game I mentioned in her Birthday post.
Kim, yes I was SOOOOOOO excited when a GSP won this year at the Westminster Dog Show!! She was a beautiful dog...I think her name was Carley? When she won, I jumped up and hugged Jasmine. She seemed excited too. smile.gif
My only worry is that since I volunteer for GSP Rescue, we're worried that this will increase the number of dogs that get purchased from bad breeders and pet stores. These unsuspectiing people will not know what hit them! LOL We could see an influx of adoptables by the end of the year. We're trying to stay positive but sometimes people don't do their research on a certain breed. And this is a breed that needs LOTS of activity. Yes they have AWESOME dispositions. I'm hooked for life! (Although I wouldn't rule adopting a different breed or a mix if the situation arises.) Overall, they are great dogs....you just have to ride the waves of adolescent because they are rough!! LOL

What a beauty she was! I love the photos - thanks so much for sharing. The one with her head on your pillow made me smile and remember Luba. She did the same thing!

Hi, Audrey-

I was just looking back at Jasmine's pictures and noticed that she a very pronounced smart bump on her head. Shiloh had a big smart bump, too...I used to love to kiss it. wub.gif

LOL...yes she did have a "smart bump"...although I've never heard it called that. Many people used to comment on it. What makes this even funnier to me, is that Bailey's isn't as pronounced. And well....yeah..... tongue.gif

I'm feeling really sad this week...not sure why. I just had a cry session as I read other people's posts. I replied a few times today but I think I'll stop for now because I probably being a downer instead of helping.
Anyway, in an attempt to make me feel better, I am going to post another picture.
I like to call this one "Bookends"

This one was taken in 2000 I think. She loved to sit on stairs this way...her butt on the top and her front feet on the next step. She would just perch like that watch the world go by.

Dear Audrey, Your pictures of your babies
are just wonderful and I love looking at them.
There will be times when you will feel so down
and sad but then it will get better. It comes and
goes but soon it will get better.
Love, Ann

Thank you Ann. It means a lot that people like looking at my pictures. I don't really show them to people here. Perhaps I'm not ready...who knows. But I'm comforted to know that you guys on here care enough to look at them and help me remember Jasmine.
And I know you're right...I'm just in a valley this week instead of on a hill. <_<

Dear Audrey,

I love seeing all your pictures of Jasmine. I love the one of her on the stairs...I love the way she's sitting there, but more so, I love the look in her eyes. What a deep thinker. And, such a beautiful girl. wub.gif

Audrey,

Such a beautiful baby. I love the wisdom in her eyes. Thank you for sharing these. I have a hard time looking at pictures of Felix, but it gives me such happiness at the same time. I hope you can always hold on to that.

She will always be with you.

Your babies are beautiful. Even just from a pure aesthetic perspective, they're stunning, but when you add in all that soul and depth and intelligence... It makes me want to cry just looking at them. (Though "bookends" made me chuckle.)
