Hi Marcia,

As you know, I'm up at my mom's and don't have email access. I happened to be near some public computers today, so I will send you this a day early:

One year ago tomorrow, a precious little angel dog was called home. She was a very sick little girl, and felt very relieved to be free of her suffering little body. However, she worried about her mommy.

What she did to help her mommy is that she guided her to this wonderful site. Here, her mommy has been a wonderful inspiration to so many of us. Her courage and her unfaltering friendship has meant so much to so many of us here.

While her mommy helped other mommies and daddies here at LS little Hannah took on the role of welcoming other furbabies to her new home. I feel that she helped my little Luba in her arrival, and Luba in turn guided me to come here and meet Marcia.

We are all connected. But we at LS are especially connected through ourselves and our furbabies.

Marcia, I will think of you both tomorrow.

You are in my thoughts and in my heart - Steph

Dear Steph, What a wonderful post you made for Hannah and Marcia. Marcia has a post over in the Memorials, Tributes, and Eulogies section too. Did you see that wonderful picture of Hannah looking over the bridge, it is just wonderful. Everyone should go see it!

Marcia, I too am thinking of you and precious Hannah. This must be such a hard day for you. I wish I could be there to give you a hug and a shoulder to cry on.
Love and Hugs,
Ann

Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.

Dear Steph and Ann--
I think it was beautiful that you remembered Marcia on this most difficult day she will face. I've never posted here before but I met Marcia after sending her a private post regarding the powerful words she wrote expressing her grief over her baby, Hannah. She touched me deeply and she wrote about the upcoming anniversary and how difficult it would be for her. She helped me so much to deal with my feelings of guilt, shame and anger over the death of my beloved dog, Chester. She also encouraged me to post here. I haven't found the strength for that, but, I, too, wanted her to know how special she is and how many people are thinking of her.

Dear Marcia,

You've helped so many people here, Marcia. When I first joined LS, I thought of you as the sweet angel who sent me messages from Shiloh through all the poems you post. I still think that. Thank you for everything you've done for me and all the others here.

I'm thinking of you and Baby Hannah on Hannah's one year anniversary.

Love,
Kathleen

I am also thinking of you and Hannah today.

You have brought so much comfort and kindness to so many people in their time of need here at LS. Draw on us for strength today if you need it...you know you have MANY friends here and we're all thinking of you today.

Thank you all so much -- Steph, I do so very much appreciate your taking the time to come here and make this beautiful post about me and my little girl today. Thank you too, Ann, Terri, Kathleen, and Kristie so much too. I don't know how I would have made it to this day without all of my dear, very, very special friends at LS.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Marcia

Dear Marcia,

I, too, want you to know that I am thinking of you and your precious angel Hannah today.
This must be a VERY difficult anniversary for you.

You have been such a dear friend to us all here at LS. Your words of comfort mean SO much to us all. I want to thank you for taking the time to find and post all those beautiful poems.

You're in my prayers, as always,

Cheri
