My Precious Penni
You found me in Walmart On adopt a pet day exactly 14 years ago today.
Your foster mom said you had had 14 homes in your short life and you had issue.
Yes you did. You had love you needed to share, your heart that you need to bare. You had kisses to give and no face to give them too.
We spent 14 years, on earth together, sharing our souls.
You are now free and in heaven, however, I feel you with ALL the time and know that you are so grateful that I loved you enough to let you go--let you go "only from an earthly sense" for you are always with me.
Thank you for all you have given and continue to give. I am a better person for knowing and loving you.
You will always be my "first" girl.
Lov'in you always my Henle Pennle
Love Mom

I have thought about you so very much during this past week as my darling kitty Shanti was also put to sleep on the 4th.

What a beautiful tribute to an extremely special creature!! Penni was indeed a wonderful girl ...

Take care

Such a touching story about how you and Penni came to know each other. And, such a touching letter to your sweet Penni.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Hi jl, What a wonderful tribute you wrote for your Penni. I know how much you must miss her. I'm sure she is still there looking down on you until you meet her at the Rainbow Bridge. I love the part your wrote about the issues, it moved me to tears.

My girls went to the Rainbow Bridge 6 weeks and 3 days apart.
Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.

Dear Penni's Mom,

What a touching story about the life you shared with your beloved Penni.

I agree with you that we're better people for having known and loved our pets.

Thinking of you,
