Thank you, I loved reading that....raw truth comes from the mouth of babes, they can be so accepting of life, I think that is probably why the lord wants us to come to him like little children. smile.gif Pamela

Abby's Mommy,

Thank you for posting that biggrin.gif
Isn't that amazing that children can seem to accept death better than most adults?
They just say exactly what they feel, and such gems come from them wub.gif

This reminds me, I had such a hard time accepting that Rachael had to leave me. In fact, I found that I sheltered my other dog from it as well. I didn't let Danny (our 3 year old black lab) see her after I brought her home to bury her. I didn't let him come out in the yard when my husband dug her grave. I also didn't let him see us bury her. I thought of him as my child, and thought I was sheltering him from the pain. Yet, these brave people let their child observe and it didn't seem to have scared him for life.

Thank God for children people don't give enough credit for the thoughts, ways, and faith of children. All 6 of my grand children 3 boys and 3 girls are all so precious to me. They mourned for the loss of Snookie and Chili bean and the fur kitty babies they have lost but are dealing with it quite nicely.

My grand daughter Sara is having a hard time dealing with all the loss she had had in her short 8 years. She still misses them so very much as I do but she clings to the hope up seeing them all in Heaven. Sara said it is a long time to wait to see them and I guess to a child her age it would be.

My girls went to the Rainbow Bridge 6 weeks and 3 days apart.
Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.
