Something To Honor Claydon, Pamela's pup she wrote about Options

I just could not let go of the story of Pamela's golden ##er spaniel that was not her's but that she was trying to find a home for and the horrific fate he suffered at the hands of his original owner.

Pamela had found him a good home but the owners decided to keep him and he was brutally attacked and killed by the one who did not want him but kept him anyway.

He was rejected and neglected and he lived his short life out in a cage unloved and unwanted. Claydon lived a life of misery never feeling the love of the human touch or hearing soft gentle words. He was not able to recieve or give kisses or play with toys.

I will never understand how those who call themselves human beings can do this to animals, children, and old people and the ones who cannot protect themselves from evil wicked people. Yet it happens every day and I am so glad Pamela did not turn a blind eye but turned that monster in. I did not want this precious little boy Claydon to go without being remembered so I wrote a poem for him.

Claydon
Your story sweet Claydon has caused many tears
for your life was cheated out of so many years.
Claydon your hair was spun to look like gold
that evil man killed you, you did not grow old.

You were punished and made to stay in a cage
until that monster killed you in a fit of rage.
He rallied against you maybe cursing your birth
not seeing joy and all the love you were worth.

You deserved being loved and held in someone's arms
you should have been protected from all life's harms.
I told my girls at the Rainbow Bridge to look you up
and when I arrive I will take you in my arms sweet pup.

That was SO sweet and loving of you!
What a sad little poem, but such a nice tribute to Claydon.
It just touched my heart and made me cry. Like you, I am just heartbroken and sick to my stomach when I think of the life poor Claydon had to endure. In a small comforting way, he is finally enjoying himself and suffering no more. I would just HATE to think that Claydon would have lived for many years under those terrible cir%%stances.

Oh Ann, how wonderful of you to write a poem for poor precious Claydon. I am glad to know that Pamela cared about him, you care about him, and we all do. Gosh, I wish he had had a chance in his lifetime to be loved! There are SO MANY more out there just like Claydon! Maybe some way, some time, we can all get something going together and become another united voice to speak out for these poor little "children."

Thank you Ann for the special poem for Claydon. He deserved a poem to honor his short little life... I still am so sad for Claydon and am still just shocked that they acutally did this. I am shocked that my friend is allowing him under her roof for one day longer. I will never look at that family the same again. The daughter is phyco as far as I'm concerned, just makes me look forward all the more to moving from this town.
I have been enjoying some evil thoughts on what I would like to do to them, just thoughts, I have already reported them and told what I know. I hope they really give it to them! The woman that wanted Claydon was just devasted when I told her. Pamela

That was beautiful, what a kind and loving thing to do. I, myself, have thought about poor Claydon more than once in the middle of the day, wishing he had not endured the pain he did. I was so thankful that Pamela's kindness had touched his world...it was probably the only love he ever truely knew..but now I feel like he has a new family of people who care about him and that's something wonderful, even if his life is gone. It's lovely that he ended up finding the love and compassion he was looking for after all.

So cheers to Pamela for showing him the kindness and love he needed so badly and to Ann for helping us remember a little one we never knew with love and respect.
