First, I want to say that I'm so happy to have found this board. Although we all come here to share our grief and sorrow, it's a good feeling to know we're not alone in how we feel. So, I want to ask, how is everyone doing today? I've read all your stories and with each story I feel your pain. I wanted all of you to know, even though I haven't posted to all of you, you and your fur babies are all in my thoughts and prayers. Together we will all get through this difficult time.

Take care

Hugs to all

How am I doing today?

Well, here in Montreal the sun is shining and the sky is blue. The air is cold and crisp and makes you feel alive. The smells are getting stronger in the air as the winds get colder.

I miss my two guys but they are beyond pain now and my grief is not as sharp as it once was - so - how am I doing today?

I am doing just fine biggrin.gif

I hope the rest of you can look out on to the day, see either rain feeding the plants or feel the sunshine warming your nose - feel the wind blowing through your "fur" or the still air giving you a moment of peace. Take it for what it is. A gift.

I'm having a very good day. Although I still miss Bud, My wife, Who once said after bud's gone no more dogs, brought up the topic of getting a small dog. We discussed it for awhile. Nothing is decided but I am hopeful! rolleyes.gif We have a cat who loves dogs. Here in ontario Canada we are waiting snow later today (YES!) tongue.gif I think she has realized that He was irreplaceable but every dog is unique. It will not be a JRT. She wants a Husky type dog. I want a dog who has a great personality.
