Great pics Jan...I almost missed the bird in the first one...I was just seeing the bunny. Great swan pic with the duck in the front. What kind of deer is that...a fallow?
Love seeing your angels chasing butterflies too...that is so cute! -------------------- ****Sonya****

The bantam picture is lovely Dottie, birds are such beautiful creatures. As soon as I can, I will post some photos of my daughter's pet bantams on here. She has some odd looking Silky ones where just their feet are visible poking out from under their bodies, so cute. She has two cats and a dog as well. LOL, you sound like you were the child from hell on that farm Dottie, like one of those children my husband fears will strip the treasured new budding fruit from our trees. My husband nearly has a nervous breakdown every time we get new fruit starting to form, because without fail some visiting child will do just that, strip the whole tree. It attracts them like a magnet. It wouldn't be the first time I have hidden handfuls of picked buds from him, I hate to see a grown man cry!! Out with the horse ride story Dottie, I'm sure it's going to be hysterical.Take care, hugs madi xx Hi Madi and Everyone, Sorry it's taking me so long to get back to you and everybody else. I'm still trying to catch up. Glad you like the bantam picture. I'd love to see some photos of your daughter's pet bantams. That would be great! Naw, I wasn't quite the child from hell on the farm. Not really. But, I'll bet my poor aunts, uncles and cousins sure felt that way at times. Hehehe. Thank goodness they realized I was a tiny kid "city slicker" so didn't know any better and were very patient, loving and dear. Bless their hearts. Lots and lots of super wonderful memories from those days. Funny as heck, too. Okay, about the horse I rode. It began one day when I saw my cousin Marvinelle riding bareback on this huge mottled white horse. Yes, that's her real name. Daughter to my Uncle Marvin and Aunt Myrtle. I guess they wanted their first child to be a boy or already had picked out a name or something. Hahaha. Anyway, I was standing in a grassy pasture playing with some other cousins and friends when I saw that huge mottled white, beautiful horse and begged to please let me ride it. Oh, the horse's name was Smokey. I have no idea how I remember that, but I'm positive it's name was Smokey. Well, I was a really tiny kid and had never ridden a horse before to the best of my recollection so my older cousins were hesitant especially fearing I'd get hurt. Still, I begged and begged. Finally, Marvinelle gave in and it was decided that I'd be safe if she sat me in front of her on the horse and we rode together. Of course, at that young age, I was certain I could ride Smokey by myself cuz little kids many times feel themselves invincible. Nope, not gonna happen. I had to either ride along with my cousin with me sitting in front of her or no ride at all. That was super fine and dandy with me so she reached down to grab and pull me up by one of my arms while my other cousins held me and pushed from the ground and there I was on Smokey's back and ready to ride. She even had Smokey gallop a little for me because I asked her to please go faster, faster, faster. Just like a kid. What a perfect first horse ride it was! I don't have any photos of Smokey horse so I did a google image search. This is pretty close to what Smokey horse looked like. Well, it was still a terrific first "horse" ride. LOL. Big Hugs to you, Angel Fur Kid Ulriich and everyone's Angel Fur Kids!!! Always, Dottie xoxoxox |

Ha , Dottie, what great memories, and what a cool 'horse' haha, oops sorry Smokey, is. I missed this in the Cyber shoulder room the first time round, but it certainly needs popping to the top of the board again. How is cousin Marvinelle doing these days?
Hugs Jan and my Angels and Pixie xx |

Hi. I'm Renee' otherwise known as Ren. I'm 26. I love cats, sitcoms, music, soap operas, and writing songs and poetry, and cooking. I am also beauty junkie. I'm a very artistic person. My vices are smoking, vodka, and swearing like a sailor even though I'm a Christian...I have a bad temper so I go off alot. I really hated stumbling across this forum. But, I had to. The lost of my pet is just too hard to handle on my own.
I know what you all are going through. Because, I'm going through the same thing. Nice to meet everyone. |
