8:25 pm feb 21. one week ago we were rushing to save you. in ten more minutes it will mark one whole week without our little peanut. time stands still for knowone,we are trying to adjust to a house without a cat since june of 1986. i cannot truly put into words just how strange it is without you peanut and your sister muffin(11/29/03).i keep finding toys that you had hidden i try to smile but it quickly turns to tears.the silence is deafing, the reality slow to sink in,then i look upon your grave in the backyard.you are gone forever in body, but will live in our hearts.missing you one week since you died. may you chase paper balls forever matt

Matt, I am thinking of you on this one week mark. I know how very hard it is. For myself it seemed almost as bad as when I lost Snookie and Chili Bean too. I guess we can console ourseves in the fact they are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

--------------------

My girls went to the Rainbow Bridge 6 weeks and 3 days apart.
Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.
