Dear Abby's Mommy,
How comforting it is when our babies pay us a visit. I heard Snookie bark some time back. I did not see her of course but I know it was her I would know Snookie's bark anywhere. I was feeling so bad that I did not have a tape recorder to record her bark before she left this world. Then a day a two later I heard her and went running to look in the living room. Sounds like you have a great husband like I do, Clair spoils me all the time and I spoil him too. That is a real cute picture of Abby but why are her ears pulled back was she afraid of something, or did she hate the camera?
Love, Ann

My girls went to the Rainbow Bridge 6 weeks and 3 days apart.
Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.

Hi Abby's mommy:

wub.gif I am so happy to hear that your precious Abby has been visiting you, to let you know that she is okay, and is checking up on you to make sure that you are okay!!!!

It's so comforting to hear her and know that she is still a part of this household. No, I can't pick her up and hug and kiss her but she is letting us know she has not left us at all but is still here and loving and missing us as well.

Of course, it must be greatly comforting to "feel and know" that she is still a part of your household.......
With our open eyes, we cannot see their outer shell.......
When you close your eyes...you have so many beautiful memories of your girl! biggrin.gif

BUT, I have no doubt at all that your darling Abby is an Angel, and she is atop your shoulder, as you go about your day!!! wub.gif
I think that that is a very comforting thought!!

God Bless You and Yours,

Love, Denise

p.s. your husband sounds a lot like mine -- usually dinner, though smile.gif (and, lots of other wonderfully helpful things!!!)
I feel truly blessed! wub.gif

Dear Abby's Mom,

How wonderful for you! I wish my Sasha would visit me and let me know she is OK.

Mornings are really hard for me too - My husband always gets up and makes coffee for us and brings it to me in bed. I always had my dogs there with me and the four of us always spent quality time together in the morning. They always had breakfast with us. Now I look and I just see an empty bed. Sasha loved her leopard skin bed. My other dog Skipper, a Westie, keeps looking for her.

It must be a great comfort to you knowing Abby is OK and that she is checking on you to see if you are OK.

Thanks for all your kind thoughts of my Sasha.

Nancy

Bubba also comes for visits. The day he died Rick and I were at the computer which is in our bedroom. I put a framed picture I have of Bubba on the dresser. I heard a sound like something jumped on the dresser and one of my chinese meditation balls rolled off the dresser on the floor. None of my cats were in the room at the time!!! I feel his presence from time to time. Sometimes I see my other cats watching something flit around the room that I am unable to see. I know that Bubba visits often and it is a very comforting feeling.

I believe that we all have visits. The signs are there we just have to pick up on them.

I'm so glad to hear about Abby's visit. You must get such a sense of peace when you hear her little tags jingle.

Shiloh came and visited me last night, too. It's her second visit in my dreams. I was laying with her and I could actually feel her fur and smell her. It was wonderful. I looked into her eyes and told her I missed her and she kissed me on my nose.

There is a warm spot by the sink in the bathroom. Oswald liked to sleep up there in the summer. The tiles are cool, and I used to let the water run a bit because he liked to drink out of the tap. There are two lights, one on each side of the mirror. If it was from the lights, the other side of the sink would be warm too, but it isn't. I initially thought it was the hot water pipes, but they aren't under that particular spot.

He can keep the resident ghost in our house company now. The original owner died of stomach cancer. The people who bought the house after that had two little boys. One of the sons kept seeing "a thin man", and the dad had an encounter in the master bedroom.

After we moved in, I started painting the walls in the basement. There is a bathroom at the end of that particular room. My husband came downstairs and we both heard someone rapping on the door inside the bathroom. The cats were all upstairs at the time, and it was right next to us.

I am thrilled to still feel Oswald's energies in the house. I am not so thrilled to have the living daylights scared out of me by the former homeowner. I was afraid to go down into the basement by myself for quite a while. Even now, I don't linger down there unless I have someone with me.
