My best friend Jack, he chose me in January of 2000. He followed our son home and stole our hearts. Daddy misses his big boy!! We will be reunited my boy and oh what a joyous reunion it will be!! Daddy misses you tremendously, thank you for all your love and kindness over the years.

Richard, Richie, Richie-Poo Cat, My Little Papaya...
Richie came into my life just over seven years ago, at about 3 years old. He was a shy boy, but overcame that with time. He was the best-behaved kitty I've ever had, and was a consistent love-bug whether I was going through bad times or good. Richie became very ill and died within a few days, a week ago. I will always love this sweet, sweet boy. I grew up with multiple pets, and for most of my life have had several at one time. This was the first time I lost an 'only' furbaby. As I've done before, I've brought someone new into my home, in tribute to Richie and my other previous pets, to give a home to someone who very much needed it, and to have the comfort of a kitty. I'll be grieving for a while, I know. But to me, taking in a new pet is the best way to honor my others. This is handsome Richie with the vivid green eyes, when he was younger:
