Hi, Cheryl, thank you so very much for sharing this wonderful picture of your beloved Daisy with us. Sleepy time pictures are always special as they are so relaxed and you can see the happiness in their faces knowing they are safe and warm and loved.
I hope life is treating you and little Franky kindly these days. I imagine soon you will be signing up for your next semester of classes. I know your beloved Daisy and little Freddy are coaching you on what classes to take, and are so very proud of their mum. Thank you again so much for sharing this adorable picture of your beloved Daisy with us. I hope you will have a very peaceful evening, my friend, and a very pleasant weekend. Please know you and your little Franky are in my thoughts and prayers, and look forward to sharing your news. Hi, Cheryl, just stopping by to say hello and to see how you're doing. I know you still have some time before you start back to university. Have you got your courses lined up yet for the semester? I hope life is treating you kindly, my friend. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, and always look forward to sharing your news whenever possible. Peace and blessings, moon_beam Hi, my dear friend, moon_beam, Thank you so much for stopping by, and checking in on me. Yes, I still have two weeks before I return. My modules have come through for the semester; they are: "Understanding Criminal Behaviour", "Perspectives on Deviance and Mental Health", "Law and The Criminal Justice System", and "Research Evaluation". They all seem really interesting, and I'm looking forward to getting started on them. I also have a meeting in two weeks regarding possible volunteer work as an "Independent Custody Visitor". My role would be to turn up at custody sites, unannounced, and investigate how the detainees are being treated. I would check things like healthcare, food, cleanliness of their living quarters, and also check that they are getting treated with respect, etc. I would also do private interviews with some of the detainees. Of course, there would be a slight level of risk involved, but that's something I have to accept with the line of work I wish to go into in the future. The recruitment process is very gruelling (I think there are about 4 stages to it), so I'm not getting my hopes up, I'm just going to turn up for the meeting in two weeks and see what happens. So, that's about it. How are you and the little'un doing? I bet you're looking forward to your weekend snuggles? Please give Noah an extra snuggle off me! I wish you both a pleasant and peaceful weekend. Thanks again for your note. Big, big, hugs from me, Franky, and my two fluffy angels: Daisy and Freddy ![]() -------------------- It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone,

Dear Cheryl, thank you so much for sharing your news with me. Your courses sound very interesting indeed. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your possible volunteer work as an "Independent Custody Visitor". Yeah, if you get this assignment you will need to be very aware of your surroudings and who is in close proximity to you. I would think private interviews would be done in a room that has some sort of surveillance for your protection, - - at least I would hope so since it would be a detention facility you would be visiting. Sounds like an exciting semester coming up for you, and I hope it is a very rewarding one as well. Please keep me posted as to how things are going for you.
So glad to know that little Franky is doing well. Noah is doing well, thank you so much for asking. Over the past couple of weeks or so he has had a couple of feline visitors come up to the door to look inside -- just stopping to say "hello - anybody home?" Noah does not appreciate this invasion of his territory. Thank goodness there is a glass door between the two of them because Noah does become quite agitated. As long as the visitors just use "his property" as a byway he doesn't have a problem with that, but their coming up to the door is quite a different matter. We are seeing another change in season together. It is hard to believe that next week we will be officially changing to autumn. It is now getting dark here before 7:30 p.m. Eastern time, and surnrise is taking a little longer in the morning as well. I don't do well driving in the dark anymore, so I'm grateful for my daylight working hours. Noah and I are looking forward to our weekend together, and hope that you and your precious little Franky will have a wonderful weekend as well. Please know you both are in my thoughts and prayers, and as I give my little Noah an "auntie Cheryl" hug, please offer you precious Franky one from "auntie moon_beam.' I look forward to sharing your news whenever possible, my friend. Peace and blessings, moon_beam -------------------- In heaven's perfect garden there is no grief or pain, and all of God's creation join the angels' sweet refrain.

Hi Cheryl
Every time I think of your Daisy - I smile. I took my tagline for gretta (the kindest chocolate lab who ever lived) from your tagline for Daisy (the sweetest bunny who ever was). Somehow I just KNOW these two are fast friends up there in that Perfect World. It brings both a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. I suspect it will be that way until we're all reunited. Thank you for sharing beautiful Ms Daisy with us. I can just about feel her soft fur and imagine what it must be like to cuddle such a soft bunny. Have a good weekend! Gretta;'s mom |

Dear moon_beam: Thank you for your response, and for sharing how you and your sweet Noah are doing. I hope Noah doesn't become too agitated by his "visitors" and maybe he will get used to their stopping by to say "hello" and realize that they're no threat to him, to you, or to your home. I hope you both had a lovely weekend. Yes, the darker evenings are creeping in here in the UK too. The summer seems to have come and gone in a flash. I hope you and Noah keep warm and cosy. You're both in my thoughts every day xx
Dear Gretta's Mom: Thank you so much for your lovely and thoughtful note. I just know for sure that, with their sweet personalities, my Daisy and your Gretta are the best of buddies in the Perfect World. I'm sure our connection on here brought them together. Isn't that cute to think that a big gentle Lab could be friends with a little, fluffy bunny? Can you imagine them snuggled up together? It makes me smile. I hope you're doing okay today, and that you're continuing to take things one day a a time. You and Rufus are in my thoughts daily xx ---- And to the love of my life, my sweet little bunny girl, Daisy: I know I haven't written to you on here for a while. I guess I kind of felt that I needed to 'make way' for all the new pain. I know you understand. I know you know that I still think of you every single day. I still smile at your memory. I still ache for your touch. And I know you know that I still love you so very much, and that I always will. I miss your warm, fluffy snuggles, and the tickle of your whiskers as you gave your special "Daisy-kisses". You really are the sweetest! ![]()

Hi, Cheryl, thank you so very much for sharing with us how you're doing, and for this WONDERFUL picture of your beloved Daisy. Her sweet Spirit shines through even when she's sleeping peacefully, knowing that she's wrapped in her Forever Mom's eternal love. Rest assured, my friend, that when she settles down for a nap in heaven's perfect garden, she is dreaming of YOU and all the love you share.
I am home now from work and my Noah is keeping watch out the big basement window for any "trespassers". He is the "protector" of his home now, or so he has taken on this role. He is so precious. I hope today is treating you and your little Franky kindly, my friend. Thank you again so much for sharing this sweet picture of your beloved Daisy with us, and for sharing your heart-filled love letter to her with us. Please know you and your little Franky are in my thoughts and prayers, my friend, and always look forward to knowing how you and your little pocket pal Franky are doing. Hi sweetheart,
Well, it's 2 years today now, since you joined the angels. I can't quite believe it. I remember starting this '1 year' thread as if it were yesterday. I remember you being here as if it were yesterday. I still miss you every day, and still think of you all the time. I always will, I promised you that. I'll never forget you. You'll always be my baby-girl. I hope you're having fun at the bridge, and that you still stop by to look over me every now and again. Sending you lot's of head strokes, tummy rubs, and kisses. Love you forever - your mummy ************xx My little angel playing in the garden:

To my sweetheart Daisy, and angel hammy Freddy, - your hammy brother, Franky, joined you to be with the angels yesterday. He was soo old and frail and lived well beyond the average age for a Dwarf hammy. Freddy - I know you will be pleased to be reunited with your brother again. You loved him so much.
Little Franky - you were a special one. Such a happy, loving, carefree little thing. The best hammy ever, by far. I'm miss your cheeky face and crazy antics. Love to you all. RIP little one:

Thank you for your note. I've been really sick over the last couple of months, so I haven't been able to visit the forum as much as I'd like. Hello Cheryl
I'm so sorry about the passing of Franky. He's with Ms Daisy up in the perfect World, bragging to everyone that it's not a dog who has the best mommie who ever lived, it's not a cat either - it's a bunny (the cutest, softest, cuddliest, sweetest bunny who ever lived) and a hammy hamster (a mini=version of his older brother). You're the greatest. You're a beautiful soul - that's why your babies stay close to you and let you know it. Lots of furry kisses, Gretta's mom |

To my dear, Daisy --
I just wanted to stop by and say hello on the day of your 3 year Angel-versary. I just cannot believe that it has been 3 years. It seems like only yesterday that I was cuddling you, stroking your soft fur, laughing at your little antics ![]() I have to tell you something amazing. My little niece had just turned 1 the day before you died. She hadn't long been talking but "Daisy" was her very first word ![]() Well, yesterday was her 4th birthday, and she got her first pet - a little fancy goldfish. Her mother asked her what she wanted to call the fish and she smiled and replied, "Daisy, after Daisy the rabbit." We couldn't believe it! We asked her if she remembered you and she said, "Yes" and that you were white and black with floppy ears, but you're "in Heaven... with the hamsters" ![]() I love you so much my little angel, and always will. Lot's of love, cuddles, strokes and kisses, your mummy xx -------------------- It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone,
For parts of us went with you ... the day God called you home My beautiful Angel, Daisy - I will love and miss you forever xx |
