Oh, that was Murphy a few hours ago, rolling on the floor with a catnip bag. She's an addict. Her twitching tail and undignified posture was too much for Iggy, so he pounced on it and she went into orbit.

Yes, "Piggy the Pinknosed Clown Prince" has done me a world of good. MUCH better than a Prozac prescription.
He is up to 3.5 pounds now, and LONGER. He seemed too stubby when he arrived here. On his first visit, the Vet said when he visits for his next shots on the Tenth he will probably weigh four pounds.
Considering the food and litter bill, Yes, I think so.

OMG jon how cute iggy is. I just recently adopted a kitten as well. So I know what you mean about him being full of energy. I am, going through that with muse as well. Enjoy his kitten hood it goes by so fast. And, those pics were adorable. I love his tuxedo look very becoming on him.

He already is a loving companion. He follows me around and visits me in m shop, like Miles did, and it has helped me tremendously.
I had not had a kitten around in decades because we always rescued Used Cats.

I have to talk with him and set some rules, and have been thinking of some for him:

PROPOSED RULES FOR IGNATIUS (Subject to revision.)

1: When you greet me in the morning, the end with the whiskers goes TOWARDS my face.

I realize that you cats think this is hilarious. Sometimes, we do not.

They are cute, but you are not going to have them much longer, so ENJOY it while you can.


2: Even in the dark, you know that the scratching post is usually around 20°C.

I am at 37°C. You know this.

I have a physical today. I hope they believe my explanation, otherwise they will think I have a barbed wire "Problem".

That little dickins is like the Energizer Bunny..he keeps on going and going and going

So many in this section have just gotten kittens....pretty soon you new dads and moms may be arranging PLAY DATES!

But be careful...the kittens could decide to UNITE!

Coming here is like going to the comic section of the newspaper....a place full of smiles. I have a favorite comic strip called Pickles whenever they feature the cat and the dog and have clipped that out over the years whenever it made me LOL!

I just read about a new kitten here who is about 5 1/2 weeks old and likes to bite and scratch...I remember what happened to you earlier when Iggy was supposed to be sleeping with you. These babies know not what they do but they sure have fun trying to do EVERYTHING!

By the way, my new small video camera works just fine. We can watch Lucky's videos on the TV and on the PC. Right now their native format is AVI but I think I can convert to other file types. Now I have to figure out how to post one to the forum. It really is fun watching them moving around...as I have seen by your Iggy's videos. Iggy is definitely a movie star now! I checked the Internet and am thinking maybe figuring out YouTube might be the best way to post one of mine. Any other suggestions?

If you are using a Windows system, you can download Microsoft Movie Maker. It allows you to do simple editng, fades, etc., and then save the file as a *.WMV format to squish iit into a smaller file. While other formats are better, they are also larger, and we have to remebmer the Turtle Ads regarding DSL-Still used by many people.

If you run a domain, you can upload it to it..that's what I do for movies. Otherwise, YouTube will work as well.

We went to a family cookout today, and I was tempted to bring Iggy, because relatives have been getting copies of the Iggy Comics. All the nieces were squealing about his pink nose and little white socks and gloves. He is a fast-learning, and very sociable and gregarious little fellow.

He was kind of cool and aloof to my lawyer last week, though. He must have a litigation phobia since I wrote those Rules for him.
Maybe he thought SHE did it. "The above forementioned notwithstanding, the Party of the Second Part, Hereinafter called 'Cat' covenents and warrants without recourse, and confessing judgement, the following Terms and Conditions...&etc&etc."

I found out I can have fun with him even if he is sleeping . Haha, he is cooperatively sleeping in the cat carrier, and he goes to the Vet tomorrow for his second shot series. We shall also discuss when is the best age to unbolt his tail.

I wondered what he would look like if he were Siamese, because Sam has chocolate points on a light backgorund.

But when I read what you wrote my reaction was to LAUGH OUT LOUD! Now that is funny! The things we learn here never ceases to amaze me.

Of course, we do know what N-E-U-T-E-R means..I'm still not sure if Iggy can spell or not..he is a very smart little dickens and I think you have not even experienced all his mind is capable of thinking of....now that's something to look forward to while at the same time just enjoying the present too. LAZY SATURDAY!

Sam and Iggy are starting to be really comfortable with each other. They chase each other around now, and go looking for each other. We actually caught them snoozing on a bed next to each other, but when they awoke they pretended to be embarrassed, and stalked off in different directions, as if they had a clandestine meeting at a sleazy motel.

Iggy now weighs 4.5 pounds.



Dr. Ignatius frequently reminds us how smart he is. But that's OK. He intends to give me the Bomb for Fathers' Day, and we can both RULE THE WORLD!

Whadda cute guy! (OK, I brag..I mean it is not like he's doing this in his HEAD, you know.)
