A Poem I Wrote Options

I held your paw,
You licked my face.
You brought joy
and love to this place.

Your love was unconditional,
it filled my heart.
And after many years together
we are now apart.

I pray where you are
there is grass and sun.
I pray you are frolicking
and having lots of fun.

You arent sick, you arent hurt.
Theres plenty to eat and drink too.
I only pray you arent missing me,
the way I am missing you.

I know someday we will be together again
your soft fur again I will pet.
Until that day,
I will thank god that we met.

Jessie you are forever in my heart.
