On Wednesday, February 25th I had to say my final goodbye to my dog, Gus. It was truly the most difficult decision I ever had to make. Gus was such a fighter and he has been fighting one difficulty after the other since last May. This past December he started having bladder problems. I tried everything that we could. It was only getting worse and his back legs were starting to go. The vet told me it was time. My head battled my heart for 5 days and then I knew I had to say goodbye for his sake. He was only hanging on for me, I had to set him free. Why is it so hard when you know they are only suffering? My heart hurts so bad and I miss him so much. I know that the memories will live on in my head and his love will live on in my heart. I love you Gussie Boy!
