Lucy has gotten much worse. We have a vet coming at around 6:30 to perform the euthanasia. I am sick to my stomach and scared beyond words. I feel like I am going to pass out. Will she be okay? I have to know that she will be okay...

Oh Caroline, I'm so sorry.
My "childhood" dog was euthanized when I was 22. I held him as the vet injected him. It was very peaceful, and very fast. He had bone cancer, and was in agony. I'm sending up some prayers to Luba (my dog that died last summer of a heart condtion), and Frodo (the one who was euthanized). I will ask them to meet your girl when she passes over.
