I looked all over this site for your postings and I couldn't find them and I couldn't let you be forgotten, I saw your picture yesterday when I used Trevor's dad's computer. It was pinned up on the wall right in front of my eyes. It showed you curled up in the lap of one of the people who took you in when some person threw you over the fence at a rescue organization.

I'm Gretta and Rufus's mom and Trevor's Auntie Jeannie and I want you to be remembered, because I love you so much.

Hello my dear darling Baby Benji.

How glad I am that someone's bad heart in throwing you over the fence at the Animal Rescue turned out to be a loving and life-saving event for you.

Benji there is an animal who has just reached the Perfect World. He's a big one = a great big lion. And he's very special because he is one of those rare ones who has a black mane. His whole country on earth here loved him and made him a symbol of their country. Then some idiot in my old home state of Minnesota decided he had to have Cecil's (that's the lion's name) head on his wall. These fools are called trophy hunters.

So this dentist (who as a professional, should surely have known better) paid $50,ooo (he must have been the most expensive dentist in the USA) and went to Cecil's country and paid off some evil men there to lure Cecil out of his protected area ( which these two zimbabwean men KNEW FULL WELL what they were doing) with some meat for him to eat. As soon as beautiful, majestic Cecil stepped off his protected area, this fool from the USA shot him with an arrow (so the police wouldn't hear a shot). Then they left poor Cecil to suffer for 14 hours and went back and killed him with a gun. Then this unspeakable man took Cecil's skin off *so he could take it home and use it as a rug for his floor) and cut off Cecil's head. Except for a few people who doe these horrific things, the whole world is weeping for poor Cecil and the unspeakable deed that this demon did to him.

The country of Zimbabwe has already arrested the people there who helped this demon dentists and put them in jail. Now the whole world is shouting for the police to find this dentist (he's hiding out) and send him to zimbabwe and arrested and put in jail, too, for what he did. This coward is hiding out in the USA from poclice who are looking for him and saying "He didn't know. He was sure that the Zimbabwean guides working with him were only doing legal things. I supposed a person with a killer soul like his wouldn't worry about a little thing like lying.

Baby Benji, could you please wander over to the Majestic Cecil - don't worry, in the Perfect World nobody is dangerous to anyone else - and let him know that you and I and half the world loves him and is so sorry that there is a person with such a wicked heart who could do this to him, please? Just sit quitely by him for a few days so that he feels our love for him, OK?

Benji, your beautiful heart will help cure the sickness in Cecil's heart and in the hearts of people on this cruel earth who even THINK to do these unspeakable things.
