To my baby girl, Daisy:

Well, the day has arrived sweetheart. A year ago today, you left us to join the angels. Not a day has passed since, where you haven't been in my thoughts and heart. It took me almost a year to get to this point – but I now realize that you left a part of you behind. I still feel you so strongly. You're still a big part of my present life. Your essence is still here, and so is your love. I promise to forever keep you alive through my memories and love for you.

Of course I still miss your physical presence though. How could I not? I miss your cuddles. I miss your scent. I miss your warmth. I miss your Daisy-kisses. I miss your expressive little face. I miss how happy you looked whenever you were eating your favourite foods, or getting strokes and attention off your mummy or daddy. I miss how you thought you were a dog, and would curl up in your bed, cuddling your teddy bears, or how you would follow me around the house. I miss how you would shake your huge ears whenever you were annoyed with something. I could go on and on about all the things I miss.

But I truly believe that I will see you again one day. A love this strong cannot just end.

I want to thank you for making the five years I shared with you some of the most wonderful years of my life. I want to thank you for being the most loving, trusting, sweet, affectionate, intelligent, funny, little bunny there ever was. I want to thank you for making me a better person – a more loving and open person. Thank you for bringing daddy and I even closer than we already were. Daddy misses you a lot too sweetheart. He said that he could still cry a river whenever he thinks of you. It must be so hard for him because he keeps it all inside, and he hasn't had the support of this wonderful forum. Please watch over him too and let him feel your love.

Well, until we meet again my sweet baby girl ... I will keep the love and memories close to my heart.
Daddy and I love you so very much, and always will. *I'm holding you now and kissing your head.... I hope you can feel me*
