I know this part of the forum isn't very well-used, but I do hope at least a few people will read this. I have been following this story for a while now. Almost a year ago, a dog was taken from his family by Belfast City Council because he LOOKED like a "Pitbull type" (Pitbulls are illegal in Belfast). He is being kept in terrible, inhumane conditions, and has just recently been sentenced to his death!!
The dog - Lennox - is infact a Labrador/American Bull dog cross. He is a much loved family dog, who has NEVER hurt anybody, and NEVER showed any signs of aggression. His devasted family have been campaigning to get him back ever since. The story is truly heartbreaking, and my heart goes out to Lennox and his poor family. Cheryl, thank you so much for the links and I will most definitely follow through with the petition and e-mail. This is absolutely atrocious, and I thank you for bringing this to our attention. Hope you and your boys are having a blessed day, and please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
