I was looking at some pictures on my computer and came across one of Opie I had forgotten about. I cried.
I really don't know how to cope with this loss. I just can't put my mind at ease. I miss him so much :'(

Finding these treasures can enhance the sadness in our hearts about not having the physical presence of our precious beloved companions with us. But these pictures, and the pictures that our hearts have taken during our earthly journey together, are a physical reminder of what we shared, and the precious life that is always with us.
Hold fast to the eternal love you and your precious Opie share - - yes, share - - no past tense - - for love is eternal - - it is forever - - and nothing can ever change that. The most blessed way I have of knowing God's comforting love and grace is to look into the eyes and heart of God's creatures' sweet angelic face. |
