I read an article about grieving and the tears, I found it interesting...That a scientific study has revealed that the chemical content in tears of grief differs from the content of tears of joy. Toxins are released from the body through tears of anguish. I cant even begin to tell you the tears I have cried this last 5 and half weeks in my tears...praying for God to help me...to send me an angel because this was almost to much to bare, I now feel his presence, and comfort, I was in the kitchen last night cooking dinner and I felt the presence of my mom, it was a joyful feeling, a peaceful feeling, a gift full feeling, it was like the same thing I experienced when I was making xmas dinner for dad, the first xmas mom was gone. I know this sounds way out there but it is something that was real to me. I know now Mosse will always be a part of me, he is part of my soul, my spirt, my being, he is part of who I am. And I would like to think that when we all pass, we will see each other again in spirt and thank each other for being there while we were here learning about compassion, pain, love. Pamela

The guy I dated before Don was also an electrician. He used to work in Heritage Park in Calgary. One of his jobs was to install smoke detectors so that they weren't obvious, in keeping with the historical aspect of the buildings. He was in the Livingston house in the part called Old Town. It was snowing pretty heavily that day, and he was upstairs in the Livingston house doing some wiring. He said that the snow was coming down in big flakes, just like a scene from McCabe and Mrs. Miller, and that it had been snowing all day. There used to be dummies in some of the buildings, dressed in period garb. They removed these eventually because they gave some people the creeps. There were two dummies in the parlour at the Livingston house, one of each sex, representing Sam Livingston and his wife.

Barry said that the house got very cold, and very silent all of a sudden. He heard someone say, "It's time for you to go." He packed up his tools and went downstairs to leave. The two dummies had been moved, and were now looking out the window. He said that the noises from outside (traffic, etc.) returned, and the room seemed to get warmer. When he got outside the house, there were no footprints in the snow leading to the house other than his which were now partially buried.

We were talking to another woman who worked at Heritage Park. They used to put on plays about the people whose houses had been moved in. She was changing in the Livingston House into period clothing in order to read a poem. She said that she felt that she wasn't alone, and that there was rapping upstairs. When she went up, there was nobody there. When she got back, her own clothes had been moved.

Here is a link to the Livingston House. http://www.viewcalgary.com/peter/heritageP...ngston_0255.jpg

The Canmore opera house at Heritage Park is haunted, as is the Prince residence. People have taken photos, and there are mysterious figures in the windows that they didn't notice. Also, someone said that they were walking up the stairs in the Prince House, and they got shoved. There was nobody on the stairs at the time.

If you have ever seen the movie Days of Heaven, the last part of the movie in the town was filmed in Heritage Park, and that is the Prince House in there doubling as the school the girl goes to.
