It's been 4wks today. There are reminders all the time and everywhere of my baby BK. Finding it difficult to accept she's gone. The tears are fewer but the sadness remains. I miss her so much.

Dear Fem--

Was BK a dog or a cat? Can you describe him or her to us, or post a picture?

I agree that the pain often never completely goes away, but it becomes less as time passes. I just lost my Poppers dog almost a month ago, and now her "sister" Ladywolf has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. It's a lot to take all at once--but that's the problem with having two pets who are about the same age!

Please tell us more about BK...

Hi Margi,

As you know I lost Callaway 4 months ago and I now have my Jack Russell who isn't doing well... the vet thinks he has a brain tumor... he will be 15 in March. It is a lot to take all at once but I feel as I'm sure you do so grateful to have this forum for support.

I pray for you, Poppers, and Ladywolf everynight before I go to bed. I am not a religious person but ever since Callaway died I have been praying every night and it seems to be helping.

Take care,
Rhapsedy
