Thank you again everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I went to the vet today to visit Gemini. He was not getting better in fact the vet said he was worse and he should have been getting better by now. She thought the best thing at this point was for him to be euthanized, but it was my call. Like I said it was one of the hardest decisions of my life.
I couldn't stand to see him suffer anymore, he could barely even walk. He didn't even have the energy to lift his head. We decided it was best and so he went to sleep at 1:30pm today. We were all there with him and we held him and pet him while he went to sleep. This is so hard I can hardly see through my tears. I am pretty sure we will have him creamated and bring his remains home. I am really not up to making any more decisions today.

dear gemini's mom, my heart breaks for you. im so sorry you had to go thru this. you are a wonderful loving mom and he knows that. as hard as it is you made the right decision. now, he is in a beautiful new home where he is no longer in pain or discomfort. he is with all of our loved ones. he is your little angel that will be looking out for you.

i will pray that your pain will lessen day by day and that one day you will be able to smile again as you remember the happy times with gemini.
