Shadow, The Love Of My Life, The Most Beautiful Cat In The World Passed Away On The Morning Of April 8, 2009 At 4:15. I Am So Heartbroken, It Hurts So Much. I Got Shadow On May 2, 1998, 2 Months After My Mom Died & She Has Been My Best Friend Ever Since. I Love Shadow With All My Heart, I Dont Know What Im Going To Do Without Her. She Truly Made Me So Happy & I Will Never 4get Her. She Was Totally AWESOME. I Was Lucky To Have Her. Shadow I Am Going To Miss You SO Much And I Will Never 4get You. You Are In My Heart FOREVER.

Hi, Wildheart, I am so glad to know you have other furkids in your household to help comfort you and bring you joy. You may find that in their own way they too are grieving the loss of Shadow. When my 6 year old number one kitty son Eli died 28 months ago, my little kitty boy Noah was particularly devastated. Noah and his sister Abbygayle were the youngest members of the household and Noah had bonded very tightly with his big adopted brother Eli. My heart broke when Eli died, and the sorrow was deepened seeing Noah grieve so deeply as well. I spent extra time with Noah and told him how proud I am of his being such a good little kitty brother to Eli. Eli was my special needs kitty, my "challenge child", and Noah always surrendered to Eli - - whatever the situation was - - Eli was "top cat" in Noah's heart and life. I know the huge hole that is in your heart, your life, and your home, Wildheart. The important thing to understand is that Shadow will always be a part of your heart and life and home, and in time you and your furkids will be able to feel whole again with Shadow's memory always with you. This grief healing journey is filled with so many ups and downs and twists and turns, so please know we are here for you for as long and as often as you need us. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, Wildheart, and please let us know how you're doing.
