Today has been one week since my Jasper puppy was hit by a truck and we had to make the horrible decision to send him on to God.
I can't stop replaying last Saturday over and over - seeing him off his leash across the street where he wasn't supposed to be. If only I hadn't called him to me. I'm so sorry Jazzy! I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry . . . When will the pain stop? When will I stop seeing things that remind me of his sweet little face? When will I feel normal again? I miss him so much, he was my baby boy. No matter how many tears I shed, the emptiness will not go away. I feel like a zombie walking through each day. I'm so sorry Jazzy! I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry . . . I love you so much my baby boy! :..( |

I'm so sorry to hear about Jasper, i know it doesnt seem like it right now, but things do get easier in time. When my darling Squidge passed away on the 28th December 2008, I honestly felt like i could not carry on, i was broken totally. Coming here really helped me to start to deal with it. Yes, I still cry about losing her, and I still miss her like crazy, but I can now think about her and smile and feel lucky for having her in my life, and feel honored that she loved me as much as i love her. Don't feel bad for being upset, pets are like children to a lot of people and its a grieving process you have to go through x
