Hi everybody its Freddie and Mummy dogs dads .
Sunday evening Teddy bear (who is the father of all our babies and Mummy dogs life partner who we lost 4 weeks ago) had a fit in our kitchen we thought he was chocking on something so i did first aid and mouth to nose to bring him back his mouth was blue and he had glazed over I really thought we had lost him but with the rescue breaths was enough air to bring him back ! As you could imagine we are beside ourselves wrapping him in cotton wool so to speak ! Then last nite at 1.38 am I woke hearing something hitting the cupboard I turned the light on and he was having a bad fit I had to grab his tongue because he was choking again then when he was coming out of it he made 2 noises that made our blood curdle it was horrible. He is 14 We know he is old I took him to to vet today (I rang my vet sunday nite ) took bloods and urine get the results tomorrow so now we have the chose of medication to control the seizures but we are very unsure about the side affects ect ! The other path we could take is the natural one I have a friend that has a great naturapath ! WE ARE CONFUSED IN WHAT TO DO IT IS ALL ABOUT HIS QUALITY OF LIFE WE ARE OPEN TO ANY SUGGESTIONS ! Warren and Chris scared ,worried and confused ![]() |

Well we just got the blood results back from the vet his creatine and urea has dropped by half but is still very high his creatine levels should be between 30-90 they were 595 now they are down to 295 still quite high but at least they have dropped same as the urea so here is hoping that they continue to drop will keep you all posted !
