My sweet baby Ui that I posted about in the new beginings has been acting weird over the last day or so. Shes been just listless, feels kind of floppy when I pick her up and just kind of acting funny. Shes pooping normal, peeing normal, even eats and drinks, but just sleeps and sleeps. And her little white lids are half way over her eyes.. I'm so unbelievably worried about her, and I'm taking her into the vet first thing in the morning but at the moment I'm just so upset and worried. I don't want to lose another baby..

After losing one furbaby, I can understand your worries about Ui's sleepiness. Try to not think about what the worst possibilites could be. It is more likely that something else is causing it. Sometimes these little ones don't absorb the proper nutrients or need a change in type of food. If everything else seems normal, it doesn't necessarily something is terribly wrong. More than likely the cause will be easy to fix. smile.gif

I know when my Gidget was presenting sleep and lazy behavior, the doc gave her a vitamin B shot which perked her right up. This was just after she had a tumor removed from her face in May. She's been just fine ever since and we have changed her food to a senior blend. (along with the treats she loves most, veggies...especially carrots)

Please let us know what the vet has to say. I hope your worries are eased this evening and the trip you and Ui make to the vet tomorrow brings relief.

Many hugs filled with love from my heart to yours, wub.gif
Beth
