Denver and Daisy!

My arm was twisted when a neighbour turned up on the doorstep with a box full of kittens and despite my protestations I finally suc%%ed to agreeing to have the little girl. Five minutes later I sent my OH up the road to get the little black boy too!

So here they are - Denver (left) and Daisy (right)

I will try and post some more pictures when they both decide to be still enough to be photographed

They are both filling out nicely now that we have wormed them and got rid of their fleas (they were riddled with them) even though they came from a family home! Both their coats are now changing, they are losing the brown colouring and are becoming more black and are now each sporting very glossy fur.

I knew I had made the right decision to get Denver when after only being here literally 5 minutes I walked back into the room he meowed at me and then rolled over for a belly rub and started purring. I think he also helped Daisy adjust quicker as she is a lot quieter and more shy than Denver.

Denver is a real cutie and loves a big cuddle where as Daisy will wrap herself round your legs purring non stop.

We give them an hour of supervised kitty freedom once a day where they go and stalk the chickens or climb trees - they are totally useless at getting down - twice now they have had to be rescued by ladder

Will keep you all posted as to their little antics along the way and hope to get some photos of them when they are still but awake!
