Has anyone out there tried hypnosis or other therapies to try & help deal with the grief ?
Furry has been gone almost 9 months now & I have been feeling better some days, whilst always thinking of her from the moment I wake up & longing for her to be here. But just this last week I can't stop crying again & I can't bear it. I spend a lot of time driving to visit people in my job as a social worker & it's like there's a switch in the car - as soon as I turn on the engine I also turn on my brain to thoughts of her last days & all the regrets & the pain come flooding back. I just can't get over losing her at only 12, I keep trying to count how many days we were actually together, how many hours....

QUOTE
I wish I had your faith

Like Pascal and Cicero said , there is no harm in believing, it makes life easier and if you're wrong, it will never be confirmed!

What makes me have faith is the magic of that special connection that we had;seems we knew each other completelyl : it seemed to me that I had lived many other lives with my cat, perhaps I as a cat or he as a person, who knows. When we were together it just felt right. Since all is a cycle, day and night , seasons, years, perhaps our lives are cycles too. I'm willing to be open to the possibility of marvellous things to come after this earthly life. I know that not one of us on earth knows anything about what happens after our lives here. Those who claim they do, most certainly don't. There are wonders than can not be scientifically studied. I am open to this reality. Ever notice when you concentrate on someone or some animal whose back is turned to you they respond by looking back at you? How did your mind manage to alert another mind? Where did you learn to communicat that way? Something to think about, this mysterious language speaks of hope. Have faith dear Judith.
