I've had several dreams about my sweetheart. Another one came last night: she had come back to me for a short period of time. I was holding her, and petting her and telling her what a good girl she was.
In the dream, I was given the option of keeping her still and having her longer, or letting her do what she loved best being active and playing ball. At first I just wanted to have her as long as I could, so no running. Then my mother appeared and told me. "Look at her, she really wants to play. You should let her do what she loves." That made me decide to take her to the park to play ball. I knew it would be the last time. As we were going to the park I woke up. I've had a couple of dreams where I get one last visit from Luba. Maybe I'm going through some kind of closure because I never got to say goodbye. Maybe my "little dog" is visiting me on a "soul level". Who knows. The dreams haunt me... -------------------- "My heart has joined the thousand, for my friend stopped running today."

It is very hard to wake up from these dreams, and find that my girl isn't there. However, in the long run they do seem to bring me some degree of closure. Yes, maybe Luba is sending me a message. Maybe she is trying to help me.
What I can do to honour her is to enjoy Falkor and all the other dogs that will inevitably be a part of my life. -------------------- "My heart has joined the thousand, for my friend stopped running today."
