Hello, everyone.Tonight I am feeling sad but I am getting better every day. It's been almost 2 months (Dec. 13th) since my boy Sox passed away and that anniversary has got me thinking of ways to honor his life. With the holidays fast approaching I need to hear from others on ways to help me honor my boy's life and pay tribute to all the good years I had with him. What's everyone else going to be doing in that regard for the holidays? I already made a small grotto out in our backyard garden with 16 votive candles (one for each year he lived) and that has helped me alot but what are some other ways we could pay tribute??Let's all put our minds together and come up with some ideas.........I do have one but I don't know if we could all pull it off or not, why don't we all agree to light candles in our beloved pets honor say,on the same night at the same time? Then we would know in our hearts that at that time all over the world people would be sharing in the same thoughts and remembering their beloved pets.Anybody want to try that with me? Please let me know and we can arrange a day and time...maybe it could be christmas eve, after all it's the most holy night of the entire year.I know,it's just an idea but I really want to do something for all of our lost pets.Maybe they could even see it from the rainbow bridge if we get enough people to light candles.Anyway,I guess I'm just rambling on and on but if you want to try this let me know.I'll continue to keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers and I hope each one of you has a merry christmas.Sincerely,Renee (Sox's mom forever)

Okay............it's settled...we are doing the candle lighting ceremony for all of our beloved animals.Let's do it on christmas eve at 10:00 p.m. eastern time. That would make it 7:00 p.m. out west. Remember that wherever you may be at that time you will light a candle (or candles whatever you prefer) and take just a few minutes to think about your lost animals life and all the happy memories you have of them.Try not to think about the sad things like how they died, were sick, etc. Let's keep it positive. Also think about everyone else's babies and send postive thoughts along to their parents and ask for strength for all of us that we have a good holiday season.I expect all of you to do this now that we've all talked about it.Anybody have anything else they want to add? Let me know how many of you want to be included in this ceremony,I say the more people we have doing this the more positive energy we will all recieve so it's a benefit for everyone to particpate.Happy Holidays everybody, and I am looking forward to our ceremony on christmas eve.Sincerely,Renee (Sox's mom)
