Hello everyone. It's been some time since I've been here...some time to try and put this whole ugly mess of Chase behind me. I've thought of many of you in my absence. There was many words of comfort given to me here. A lot of the folks in the forum I recognize but I see there is some new faces as well, a testament to the fact that the spectre of doom continues to rob us of our furry loved ones leaving more of us wanting & grieving. I moved forward as one should but when I opened one of the boxes downstairs to get the Christmas stuff out I found a tiny little stocking we used to use for Chase at Christmas....and went to pieces for the first time in a few weeks. I did feel comfort a little when I found this picture in the same box. We wanted to get "deer antlers" for Chase but she refused to wear them. Abigail didn't seem to mind as you can see. I thought I would post this in hopes of putting a smile on someones face in this time of great absence as this for me and many of us here will be the first Christmas without our pets sad.gif

John

LOL oh now that is a cute pic! The "deer antlers" on Abigail are adorable and Chase just looks beautiful. Thanks for this and good to know you are doing as well as can be expected.
Love
Lori

Mommy loves and misses you guys. She remember's all of you, even though it's too many to name each one. I can't wait to see you again.
