I really don't. I know it goes against every fundamental law of nature, circle of life etc but I just really don't like it. Animals that I love and care for shouldn't die. For no other reason than "I don't want them to"
I miss Twinks and you miss your animals as well. Screw the circle of life, i just want our pets back!! -------------------- I LOVE YOU TWINKIE!

Furkidlit's Mom's posting reminded me of the poem - "Do not go gentle into that Good-night. Old age should burn and rave and close of day. Rage, rage against the dying of the light..."
Anyway, I too feel that our pets shouldn't die. It seems so unfair that they get such short lives, and that we must say good-bye before we are in any way ready. But, of course, that is how it is and there is nothing we can do about. The only way to avoid the pain is to never have a furbaby, not a very inviting alternative. I know that had I not adopted Daisy, she would have still lived and died - likely in less happy cir%%stances, and she and I would have never gotten to enjoy the loving bond we had together - a bond that even death can not end. "For love is stronger than death." Daisy's Mommy |
