I believe that every animal has a soul and a unique personality - Many years ago - as an adult), I also had a hamster and grieved when he died. He was my little friend, who slept in my t-shirt pocket. It was the same when my guinea pigs died. All lived long lives, but I missed them all.
Ignore anyone who says "it was just a hamster ... " What does that mean? It was not just a hamster - she was your hamster, your little friend and companion and you have every reason to grieve. I feel sorry for those who think that love is limited to human beings. They are narrow and missing out on some of the most beautiful experiences of life. Best wishes, Daisy's Mommy |
