Thanks for everyone's support. This site has helped tremendously but it's also really hard to keep coming back here right now. I'm going to stay away for awhile & come back later when I'm stronger & help some others out like I've been helped.
I will ALWAYS miss & love my beautiful Daisy Mae, and I'm still grieving & will for a long time but I've made a decision. My surviving dog is so depressed that I've consulted my vet & he suggested I get another puppy. At first I was completely against this but I'm starting to warm at the idea of it. I'm just going to keep thinking about it till I'm ready and I'm not in a hurry. I am not being dishonorable to Daisy & I'm also not trying to replace her. I've had dogs my whole life so I've been through a lot of love & loss. I have a lot of love to give & will never stop giving it as long as I'm here.....even though in the end I will lose.....it's so worth it. |

Aren't you the one that took away your dogs pillow after she passed? Perhaps if you were to put it back it may just help your remaining dog to still have some of Daisy there and would help to soothe him and he to be able to cope with Daisy not being there.
![]() I am so sorry for your loss of Daisy. Wanda |
