Two days ago, one of my best friends was run over in our yard. I miss her so much and I just wanted to talk to others who understand. Moyia was the best dog, she truly was my sidekick for ten years. My heart aches and my body hurts. She took such good care of us.

Here it is, nine days later. My girl is desparately missed. I can't seem to do anything around here without thinking of her. I still can't believe that someone can drive in my yard, kill our family pet, and leave, to never return and apologise. It boggles my mind. Anyone who knows Moyia, knows she never went near vehicles. My family and friends can't figure out how she could have got run over. So the question is "How fast was this guy going?" in a yard (not a road or even a driveway)? I know the answer still won't bring back my Moyia, but I'm having a hard time understanding this whole thing. Are we not safe even in our own yards?
I guess my anger is starting to kick in. Velma (Moyia's Mom) |
