I want to thank all the people who replied about me losing Cody. It is nice to know that I am not crazy and other people grieve as much as I have. Things are getting better day by day. I still miss him so much. Some days are better than others. Angel has been a big help she keeps me busy. It is sort of funny she has taken on some of the traits that my beloved cody did that made me so happy. She even hugs me when I'm sad. She will be a good dog too. I just hope I can love her as much as I did my buba.

What is your oppinion on Life after Death. Do you believe we will see our departed animals again someday. I sure hope so because that is all that is getting me through this who ordeal. I just keep telling myself that someday I will be with him again.

[FONT=Impact][SIZE=1][COLOR=blue]cody looks like such a darling. here are my thoughts on the subject of life after death. i like to think of myself as a good, christian man- not so good a lot of the time and not as christlike as much as i'd like to be, but that is the reason why we need a savior,right??!! in the beginning of the physical creation GOD made the animals to keep him company. HE later made man(in HIS own image) and put the animals in his care, for him to love, and HE saw it was very good. there was no such thing as death in that time. after the first man sinned , GOD had to punish him with death and made him leave HIS paradise(heaven on earth). when GOD came to earth in the form of a man (JESUS), HE paid the penalty for death, and overcame death forever. that "heaven" is a future time for all of us humans(only GOD knows when that time will be fufilled), but it is a guarantee, GOD promised it to us and it is impossible for HIM to lie. on the other hand, our animals are incapable of sin. their death is our "hell;our punishment as our part of living in this present, evil world. i do believe their life is ongoing on some sort of plane, someplace GOD has reserved for them(a "rainbow bridge" of sorts, something like the original garden of eden). i truly believe that when GOD says the time is right, and JESUS is sent back to reclaim the earth, the dead (people) will be resurrected and given access to the paradise our beloved friends(our pets!!!) are already enjoying. that seems like the kind of "heaven" a merciful FATHER would have for his children! GOD bless all of you grieving souls who love your animals(whom GOD entrusted to us!) more than this present , evil age and all of the material things that there are to covet. i pray GODSPEED the fulfillment of time of HIS mercy when HE gives us the "[all good things]" that he has promise to us. luv, ron in pa p.s i hope that you do not feel that i am as fanatical or crazy as my wife does!
