My 5 year old cat, Bailey, died today.
He was very sick this past month, then got better, then got very sick again. The doctor told me he wasn't at the point of dying, yet, but was in critical condition. I visited him Friday at the hospital, my fiance (his daddy) visited Saturday, we were unable to visit Sunday and he died last night in his sleep without us seeing him one last time. I can't stop crying. I feel like he's here with me and then I realize he's not and it hurts so bad. He was so young and it was somewhat unexpected, it makes his death seem so unreal. I feel like I'm in a bad dream. I keep hoping I wake up and he's curled up right next to me, purring. I miss him so much right now. I just want him here so badly while I'm typing away at the computer but he's not. I can't believe I'll never see him again. I am so sad. He was my baby boy. -------------------- Bailey 05/10/00 - 10/03/05

I'm very sorry for your loss. It's been almost a month since my sweet doggy died and it does get easier. But it takes time. Please know that you are in my thoughts and there are so many people here to help you through this difficult time.
