Never in my life have I felt such crushing unbearable saddness. My heart goes out to all of you who have posted on this site, for I now know what you all have experienced.

Dear Kerry,
I read and responded to your original post several days ago and have thought many times since then about you and Shandy, and the difficult decision you would be faced with. I'm so sorry for the loss that you're feeling now. I remember the first days and weeks after Shiloh's passing...the pain and sadness were excrutiating. With time I've found peace in knowing that I gave Shiloh a great gift by ending her suffering. Shiloh has been gone for almost 8 months and although I still miss her terribly, I find myself comforted by the happy memories of her and not tormented by her absence. Be gentle with yourself and allow yourself the time and space to grieve and heal. You and Shandy are in my thoughts. Kathleen -------------------- Shiloh and Hobbie, you're both gone from my arms, but forever in my heart.
