Oh Frisky Options

I just found out my cat, friend, of ten years passed away. The worst part is that I am away at college and wasn't even able to be there with her during her last days. Her name was Frisky, and we all loved her so much. This is really the saddest that I have felt in such a long time. I am going to miss playing with her in the yard in the summers, and her jumping up on my lap while watching tv. She was so innocent, i just hope she is up in heaven waiting for me.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, and it makes it that much tougher when you weren't able to be there for them.

It's almost consoling to know that Frisky passed on his own. Be thankful for that. He knew the time had come. Many hold on for whatever reason, maybe because they feel just as guilty leaving, and knowing that it will break our hearts, until we unfortanately have to make the final decision. I would have loved if my Abby would have passed in peace at home, instead of knowing what I had to put her through.

You are not alone, and this group of people is great. I have only been here a little over a week myself. Take the time to read what others have shared.
