Often when I come in and make a post I do not say a lot about Clair. I guess I just assume that everyone will know how much he loved and loves the babies too. Most of the time I took Snookie to work with me since I was a Security Guard I was allowed to do that. Once in a while Clair and I worked a site together but not to often.
Clair worked at Ford Mo. Co. full time and as a Security Guard part time. After Clair retired from Ford Motor Co he became a full time Security Guard too. So now and then Snookie went to work with her daddy too. Snookie was all business when it came to work and she was so well behaved she got to go in the buildings with the boss's approval. Any way I want to dedicate this post to my precious husband to show just how much he was involved and loved our furbabies and fur grand babies. I am going to post a lot of pictures, some of them are recent but many of the pictures are old. I think enough isn't said about the daddies of our babies on LS and I wanted to show how tender Clair is. Ann Here is a picture of Snookie going to work with us, she is sitting on Daddys lap.

Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings. Snookie Lynn Howard 2-04-94 - 12-26-04 Senorita Chili Bean Bubbles Howard 11-05-94 - 11-11-04 |

Dear Ann & Clair,
Thank you for sharing all the photos. They are all precious. Snookie and Chili Bean sure were two loved puppies, by their mommy and daddy. Babies like them who have two parents to love them are so richly blessed! It is obvious how much love there is in your family, between all of you. It is a wonderful sight to see. Bless you both, Jenny -------------------- Alice Mae Bennett ("Allie") was born around May of 2003. She came home to us in July. On March 10, 2005, she became ill with a condition called mesenteric torsion or volvulus. It is a twisting of the small intestine which is nearly impossible to diagnose. Once symptoms begin it is usually too late to save the intestine by surgical means. There are no known ways to prevent it and its causes are also unknown. It is extremely rare, especially in medium-size females like Allie. It is more common in males of large breeds, like German Shepherds.
Allie was a sweet, happy and loving soul. I will miss her every day. Thanks for giving us these last two years, little girl. We'll always treasure them. |
