Dear Abby's Mom,
I think your therapist is the one who is crazy. He has obviously never had a close bond with a furbaby or he would not have said that. How thoughtless and uncaring he is. He is also wrong. I believe you. My Sasha visited me the next day after she died. I heard her bark at the foot of my bed as did my other dog Skipper who got up to look for her. After 12 years I would know that bark anywhere. Also, we have an atomic clock that is a real pain to set - you have to dig out the directions to do it, and the morning after Sasha visited me the clock was three hours fast. I know it was her messing with me as I was working with someone on the East Coast that day. I believe it was her way of telling me she was OK and that she was still with me and involved with me. Amazing how many of us here have had similar experiences. I think we are lucky to still have them with us. Nancy |
