A few hours ago I did the most humane thing I knew how to do. Storm, our 14 year old feline had advanced stages of cancer. My partner and I decided to be in the room together until the end.
I thought that it wouldn't bother me as much as it is now. I know I did the right thing, I know it is for the best, but I feel so empty. So lonely. I miss her so much. Her sister keeps walking around the house looking for her. It just doesn't seem fair. It doesn't seem real. Just wanted to share. Ray |

Dear Ray,
I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to let them go. I also lost my best friend Bubba to cancer dec 22. He was 14 1/2. It hurts so bad to see them suffering. You freed Storm from his pain and he is no longer suffering from the cancer that was hurting him so much. Storm is now with you in spirit. Kim |
